Jacqui (Discussion Group Team Leader), Kelleigh (Publicity) and I (Kelsey, Coordinator) spent the weekend in Grapevine, Texas at the MOPS National Convention. There were 5,000+ women from all over the US and Canada. We were there to learn, grow, cry, laugh and play. We attended sessions with Elisha Morgan (President of MOPS Itl.), had worship with Kim Hill & Mark Shultz, enjoyed a "Glitzy Gals" pampering night and concert with "Out of Eden" and "Go Fish". Plus many great workshops, speakers and events. We were chased across the parking lots by giant crickets, didn't see much evidence of Hurrican Rita, ate lots of good food, got too little sleep, and came back energized with LOTS of great ideas to try and impliment in our MOPS group! What an experience! If it sounds exciting to you, see if you can join us in 2006!

MOPS meetings...

Childcare is provided for birth to 5 years old by our happy workers and they look forward to attending to your children so you can have a break. Learn and laugh with other moms with young kids.

Returning moms: the meeting cost is $2. If you are new to MOPS, worried about what to expect, please come and let us welcome you -- your first meeting is free! A one-time fee of $23.95 pays for the MOPs International membership and includes a subscription to MOMsense magazine, weekly emails, and a book.

MOPS is the second and fourth Tuesday of every month, from September to May.
