Have any of you had the "Sparkling Kitchen Success" that Daphne taught us about at our last MOPS meeting? She gave us so many great ideas and tips. Did you know we had such talent and knowledge within our own group? I am so excited to try her recipes. I did go out and buy the meringue powder to make my frosting shiny and hard! I can't wait to use it!
Maybe I'll get the chance to do it for our MOPS cookie exchange at our December meeting. Doesn't Jill's idea sound like fun! If you want to be a part of the FIRST MOPS Cookie Exchange, bring 2 dozen cookies to the meeting and take a variety home with you! We'll be putting them in the hallway as you enter the meeting room.
I hear Lindsay has a fun craft already planned for us. She was planning ahead on this one because hopefully her baby girl will have made her arrival by then! What an exciting year for new babies and new pregnancies. We can pray for health for all the new babies and mommies.
If you missed our last meeting, here's a picture of our craft. I went home and made my own and added the beads. Thanks to you who made extra, our MOPPET workers will each be getting one of these beautiful ornaments as a Christmas "Thank-You" from all of you! How fun!
It's hard to believe that when we meet next on December 13th, Thanksgiving will be long past and Christmas only a short time away!
Remember the MOMS Night out on December 5th and Carole's. Check earlier posts to find the info on that. I know many of you have already signed up.
Well, I think that's it for now, Enjoy your last days of November and we'll see you in a few more Tuesdays, Kelsey, Coordinator
