Here's a few things to be thinking about:
~Do you plan on attending MOPS next year? At our May 9 and May 23 meetings, Marcee will be passing around "MOPS Commitment Forms." They are just so we know if you'll be coming back next year. This will help Sandy in planning for enough MOPPET workers and for the Steering Team to get you organized into Discussion Groups before the summer starts.
~Stay tuned for Summer Play group info. We'll have activities once a month and otherwise we'll be meeting at Lyle Park Playground at 10:00am on Wednesday's. Indoor Park Moms are invited, too!
~Summerfest Parade! We're having a 'float!' (Well, more like lots of walking moms, dads & kids with a truck bed for the stragglers!). We want every mom in Dallas to know about MOPS, so we're spreading the word! The parade is July 29th and we want YOU to be in it! We'll have small flyers to pass out to every mom, grandparent or stroller we see along the parade route. Stay tuned for location, time and how to dress up!
~2006/2007 MOPS Kickoff! At the Dallas City Park on August 22nd (4th Tuesday). 5:30 pm. It's a Picnic/Potluck. That means to bring your own tableservice and a main dish to share. It's an event for the whole family. Let's plan to be there to get our next MOPS year off to a great start!
