So, how many of you baked your apple pie today? I have been looking forward to this meeting for quite a while. The topic of choosing our education path is often brought up in our home. I left our meeting feeling confident and more relaxed about whatever decision my husband and I make for our children's schooling. Amanda, Lori and Julie; what wonderful mothers! I am so thankful they came and spoke to us. They were all so graceful about the choices they have made in educating their children--private, public and home--each unique, yet perfectly suited for their children, desires and needs. Isn't it wonderful that God allows us freedom to do what we think is best for our children? Even more amazing is the love He gives us for our children.
May we strive to be like Erma and "Never have a bad day!" I am thankful for our Mentor Moms as well. It was a pleasure to get to know Erma, Alice & Adelia. God has created us all so different from each other yet we each have something we can offer to others.
Our next meeting will be with Pastor Jerry Franz. He'll be speaking on "Identity Theft"--and not the kind that is taken from you wallet. More like the kind that is taken from your heart. See you there!
