Berry Picking on the Farm

Our summer is nearing it's end, but that doesn't mean the fun is ending! This is an update on the August Schedule of events. We will be combining the Fishing on the Farm day and the Berry Picking day all into one, with two small changes. One, the location of our get together will be at Jody Condon's childhood farm on Perrydale Road. Second, due to lack of water, the fishing adventure will have to wait until the pond fills up! However, blackberries are ripining, and blueberries may still be available a short distance away. Bring a picnic lunch, a bucket, grubby clothes, and come out to enjoy the scenery, each other, and the berries!
We will meet at 10:00 at Jody's parents house, August 14th (next tuesday). Blackberries are scattered around the property, and blueberries are available at Perryhill Farm 1/4 mile away. Directions to the farm: head north out of Dallas to Perrydale Road (off of Hwy 22). Go 3 miles, turn left onto Sunnyside Rd. Their house is the second on the right.

MOPS meetings...

Childcare is provided for birth to 5 years old by our happy workers and they look forward to attending to your children so you can have a break. Learn and laugh with other moms with young kids.

Returning moms: the meeting cost is $2. If you are new to MOPS, worried about what to expect, please come and let us welcome you -- your first meeting is free! A one-time fee of $23.95 pays for the MOPs International membership and includes a subscription to MOMsense magazine, weekly emails, and a book.

MOPS is the second and fourth Tuesday of every month, from September to May.
