Wasn't the last MOPS meeting so amazing! It is always one of my favorite ones of the year. Kathy Gallagher always leaves us with great take-home ideas and new ideas to try. A few ideas I remember:
Making placemats from Christmas photos of family and friends.
Laminate your child's artwork for a placemat.
Buy an inexpensive hurricane vase, fill it with a candle and nuts/cranberries.
Think LARGE when it comes to artwork--bigger is better for a wall!
Wrap a leaf on to a candle with twine.
Add 'sparkle' to a room to reflect light (mirrors, shiny decorations).
Collect your fireplace supplies in a basket with a lid, not a plastic bin.
Always hang your curtains as close to the ceiling as you can.
There were so many more great tips and ideas! Thank you, Kathy, for sharing your knowledge!
(see July 5, 2008 post for changes inspired from last visit!)
