Annoucements:

Did you miss the last meeting, but want to know what's going on? Here are a few of the announcements that were made:

  • MOPS play date at Setniker's Pumpkin Patch in October 27 at 10am
  • Interested in taking your kids to the Dallas Retirement Village for a "Toddler Time?" Contact Kelsey for more information.
  • "The Body Shop At Home" is having a fundraiser for victims of domestic violence. The information sheet will be put at the 'hospitality' table at our next few meetings.
  • MOPS is having a Book Club. And the book we're reading is "The Hiding Place" by Corrie Ten Boom. Please try and read this by the spring when we will be having group discussion on what we've read. Copies will be available in the MOPS Library, which will be set up at our next meeting.
  • MOPPETS still needs 6 more volunteers for our childcare program. Do you know anyone who could help for 5 hours a month? Contact Sandy if you can help!
  • Are you a homeschool Mom who would like to come to MOPS? We have a volunteer who will sit with your older students in the library during MOPS. If you'd like to come, be SURE to contact Kelsey or Sandy so our volunteer, Kate, will be there when your students come!
  • Welcome to our newest table-Cinnamon! Cindy is our new Mentor Mom and Dawn has stepped into position of Discussion Group Leader. Thank you!

MOPS meetings...

Childcare is provided for birth to 5 years old by our happy workers and they look forward to attending to your children so you can have a break. Learn and laugh with other moms with young kids.

Returning moms: the meeting cost is $2. If you are new to MOPS, worried about what to expect, please come and let us welcome you -- your first meeting is free! A one-time fee of $23.95 pays for the MOPs International membership and includes a subscription to MOMsense magazine, weekly emails, and a book.

MOPS is the second and fourth Tuesday of every month, from September to May.
