It was so great to see so many moms back to our second meeting. It's been such a joy to get start to get to know you! I think it's amazing how we can be so unique and different from each other, yet we are so much the same. We all have hurts and struggles and share some of the same joys and triumphs! Hopefully MOPS will be a place where you can share some of those life experiences!
We got to learn a bit about three of our Mentor Moms this last meeting.
Joyce, Rena and Adeline--what a treasure you are! We love to learn from you!
So, what have you done today to put that "Perfect Proverbs 31 Woman" into practice today? My husband and I were on out on our 'date night' at Baja Fresh recently. Since I was done eating, I offered to put together the last fajita for him. He said, "Why? Are you practicing being a Proverbs
31 Woman." "No," I had to laugh, "The quicker you finish eating, the sooner we can go shopping!" It's often not easy--honoring our husbands, living a life of balance and seeking to do what God has for us--but it's always the best way to live.
Welcome to new babies Tucker and Isaiah, it was so nice to meet you both!
